This MSc in Global Business Services is a 2 year part-time programme delivered by TU Dublin (Blanchardstown Campus). It is aimed at senior managers, centre managers with team lead responsibilities or those preparing for such a role. It is grounded in expert knowledge and will provide in-depth training on the key activities and skills required to run single or multi-functional teams within a Global Business Services environment. 

The success of Global Business Services or Shared Service organisations depends in large part on the knowledge, skills and capabilities of their staff. With the emergence of multifunctional Global Business Services organisations in a knowledge-centric ecosystem, learning and development is imperative to create and motivate high-performing professionals and teams. This programme is a national intervention to establish an accredited professional development pathway to support this important industry.

Graduates of this programme will be eligible for a Master of Science (MSc) award. This course is a Level 9 MSc course on the National Framework Qualifications (NFQ) with 90 ECTS.

 

The majority of module content will be delivered online with an additional 4 days face-to-face workshops at TU Dublin (Blanchardstown Campus). Given the current circumstances, it is envisaged that these workshops will be delivered online and we will return to blended learning when conditions permit.

The MSc course in Global Business  is aimed at senior managers and centre managers with team lead responsibilities or those preparing for such a role within the GBS sector. It is grounded in expert knowledge and will provide in-depth training on the key activities and skills required to run single or multi- functional teams within a Global Business Services environment.

Candidates who have already completed studies up to honours degree level (Level 8) are eligible to enter for the course. For those who do not meet this entry criterion a non-standard entry pathway is available and details are available on request. Applicants must submit their CV for eligibility assessment.

Candidates may be eligible for the part-funded fee of €2,495 per annum provided they are working in private or commercial semi-state organisations registered in the Republic of Ireland.
