Deep Dive into Current Management Thinking

The business you work in can expect to reap real benefits from your participation in the course in two ways. Firstly, Phase 1 of the course teaches participants about the latest thinking and best practice in innovation management and creativity, thought leadership, problem solving and a variety of related topics – there are 6 modules in total. These topics have been carefully selected to upskill participants in the key development areas for leaders and entrepreneurs both in ICT and in the SME sector. There is a strong focus on advancing your management and critical thinking skills and on making participants aware of the practical tools and frameworks that are available to support innovation in an organisation. This phase of the course takes 8 months and your work will be assessed based on projects delivered and reflective learning submissions – the great news is that there are no exams!

Hands-On Research Project with Commercial Benefits

The second phase of the programme runs over a further 16 months and it involves a research project with the opportunity to deliver tangible benefits in your commercial environment. You will be appointed an expert Mentor, who will assist you in designing the project and in identifying defined outputs to be delivered over the course of the research work. Once complete, your project will be assessed by the College – who will support you throughout this learning experience – and the awarding of the Master’s degree is linked to this assessment.
